A DX (Direct Expansion) Air Handling Unit is an air handling system where the refrigerant directly cools or heats the air inside the unit through an integrated DX coil.
Compared with chilled water systems, DX AHU does not require external chillers or water piping, making it suitable for projects with limited installation space or simplified system requirements.
